March 25, 2023 I have never had any issues with my internet service. The installation was so quick I don't even remember it. I never really thought about the speed because it's never slow. I have never thought about switching.

February 13, 2023 Optimum service is pretty average. I have no issues with my internet speed but there are occasional outages that come with no warning and aren't quickly fixed. The service is tied to my apartment building's intercom system so I have little choice in providers unless I opt out of using it. Overall, I am not totally unhappy but have used better providers in the past.

February 02, 2023 I've never really had a problem with Verizon as my internet provider. While it is expensive at the end of the day if you want good internet sometimes you have to pay for it. Overall, if you have the money to spend that's Verizon is definitely worth it. I've had problems with other providers in the past but so far so good with Verizon.

July 06, 2026 Spectrum is slow, has poor customer service and also has a monopoly in my area. There is no competition. 5G internet service is not available as there is very poor cell signal at my home. Additionally, Verizon began running FiOS to my neighborhood and then stopped. I can only guess because Spectrum holds the cable franchise rights in the town of Glenville and is fighting to hold on to whatever market share they have.
