Allwest generally provides reliable internet service with decent speeds for streaming and remote academic work, which I appreciate. Customer service is usually easy to contact and responsive, and I rarely experience outages. However, I dislike the occasional dips in speed during peak hours, and the pricing feels a bit high compared to competitors offering similar plans…though I also live in a rural area where not many providers operate. A bit more transparency and consistency would go a long way.

Allwest has gone to crap. They do updates to fix upload and then mess everything up. To where you are getting half your speeds.. and then bicker in the office. Who's fault it is.. instead of actually going to the core and fixing the problem...

I have fiber internet, but we're rural. It's fast most of the time. We have an alarming number of outages, and it's been difficult to get service work done. It would also be nice if we could have more than one line hardwired directly to the modem, since we have more than one remote worker at home.
