Finally had enough of Armstrong’s constant, completely unresolved internet issues in my area, as have a great many of my neighbors, who are switching to different carriers en masse. AOL in 1998 was more reliable than Armstrong is now

Armstrong seems to be pretty fair in their pricing, although they're one of only two services available in my area. The other company is known for frequent inactivity, and it's difficult to reach anyone at a help desk. Armstrong is always available and usually solves the problem within minutes. They reach out to customers via email to confirm that the problem is fixed and if to the customer's satisfaction. To avoid a technician coming to your home or business, there's sometimes someone there who can walk you through a procedure to fix the problem. Overall, I'm satisfied with the internet service I have.

I do not have good opinions on my internet provider, but they are the only option available here that isn't satellite or 56k. Outages are common during unfavorable weather and can sometimes last days, service calls are never on time and I feel that the price is much to high. I would like for another provider to join the area to provide competition, but do not see this likely as Armstrong is known for buying out competitors to maintain its monopoly.
