ATC Broadband Internet Reviews

My ISP is very unreliable. They want to upcharge you to use their routers (which they will personally admit are not good) but they also try to tell you that the high speed router you've personally purchased will not be able to give you highspeed internet. In my experience with my ISP, my router that I personally purchased has been better than any of theirs that they have "installed". I put installed in quotes because half the time they charge you like $40 to drive to your house and hand it to you. My internet used to frequently disconnect from my devices when I had the router that came with the service. Not to mention that if there is a outage or even one problem, the tech support is not helpful. They tell you to restart your router and if that doesn't work then they will submit a ticket to have someone come to your house in like 2 hours. It's very frustrating.

ATC Broadband is a small-town provider, but the price has grown past a small-town budget. Our home does have higher internet needs than most, but I still feel like we're paying a lot for the service we get. During the pandemic, many of the offices closed and at times, the customer service line leaves a lot to be desired. The fees for missing payments is also steep. The set-up and install is easy enough, but when things go wrong tech support largely tells you to schedule an in-person visit, and they are not always available due to the limited staff. We don't have many ISP services in my area, but for the price we are being charged by ATC Broadband-- I'd love to see them provide website support and an outage map or other tools to justify the cost.
