Conexon Connect Internet Reviews

When it works it's great, but if you have a problem they don't seem to give a crap about restoring your service. I have spent over a week without internet, and have been lied to repeatedly about when they are coming to fix it.

I just cancelled ConexonConnect because their SERVICE WAS SO LOUSY. Went 4 weeks with their lines down (NO TELEPHONE, NO INTERNET) and repeatedly asked their Technical support (Seth, then Christen, then Albena, then Cameron) to send a serviceman to reconnect me. They didn't send anyone. Even cancelling was difficult. Customer service (Phil, then Natasha, then Brittany, and then Sam) did not do the simple cancellation. Returning to my old provider was cheaper, far less of a headache, and with better service.

I called to set up new service at an address that previously had service with this provider. My first call required a call back that was about 2 hours after my initial call. They gave me an install date that was about 30 days from my request. That is strange since the gentleman I bought the house from used his service and equipment right up until the day I made my request. I actually took his equipment to the UPS drop point as he had a flight to catch. The second call indicated they did not have me as a new customer but a customer with previous service. I was place on hold for more than an hour with no response. When I attempted to leave a voice mail, I was placed back in the loop and told the average wait time was 4 minutes. This is after 1 hour on hold. Now I am waiting/hoping for a call back to set up service. I think I should check my options for other providers. I get pretty good service with my mobile hot spot on my cell phone.

We relocated to rural, Mo. from a neighboring City, wishing to port our 30 year old landline. We chased down Conexon Connect for at least 4 months, to acquire their services. They were changing systems, lost our requests, never reached out & dropped the ball, not once, not twice but numerous times, as we continued chasing them for service. They claimed our new construction location was unfounded, even though their feeder box was in our backyard and used to provide service to the neighbor. We notified Conexon Connect of our City home closing date and needed to get our 30 year old phone number Ported immediately, which was no problem, at that time. This company continued to drag their feet. (This is when Conexon Connect dropped the ball) The tech arrived by appointment to install our internet, he left us with a temporary phone number, he didn't get the porting request in time for porting. (According to their records was August 14th. Note: We had been attempting to obtain service since May!) I told the tech we have no need for a temporary number, we have a number that requires porting, he mentioned that would be another appointment scheduled at least two weeks out. I told him we don't have 2 weeks, we close the following week. We were told to keep our City home phone active, which was up to the morning of closing. The new home owner obtained phone service and caused our active line to be disconnected. We tried everyday for Conexon Connect to expedite our porting request daily, due to their delays and our time sensitivity. Their processes are slow, lacking & inconsistent. We spent hours, day after day communicating with their staff to try to avoid the issues we were about to encounter. We lost our 30 year old landline telephone number used for business purposes, which is listed on our business truck, uniforms, checks, invoices, business cards...all which will require money to change. All because someone in Conexon Connect dropped the ball and failed us as a new customer. Instead of moving forward to port, they suggested using internet to " store" our number, but we had zero internet service, because they were to be our provider and no cell service in rural Deepwater, Mo. Highly disappointed that this Company failed to follow up, follow through and provide their product and services in a "Timely" fashion!

Conexon Connect is very satisfactory. Fast, reliable and priced reasonably. Only complaint is it took a month to restore after Hurricane Helene. Jackie P
