Buckeye Cable System's pricing and customer support leave a lot to be desired. My experience in their store regarding issues has been less than satisfactory. They do not upgrade your equipment unless you make multiple requests. You can have the same equipment for 10 years, while your neighbor may have brand-new, updated equipment. Buckeye Cable has a monopoly in the area, with only a couple of small competitors. I would switch to Uverse but it is still unavailable on my street.

Buckeye broadband has the absolute worst customer service. Waited for over 2 hours to speak with a manager who was of no help. Twice was told would receive a call back from customer service, never received a call back. Service technicians no call, no show. No contact information provided for service technicians. Internet has been inconsistent for a week.

There are limited options for providers where we live. One of the biggest frustrations is with their billing portal. I have it set up on autopay, but need the past bills for tax records. Whenever I attempt to download them the UI is difficult to navigate, and they only make past bills available for a few months.

Generally our internet service is fine. Though there are occasional outages that require us to shut down the router and start it back again. That occasionally happens when watching media, though sometimes it happens when on Zoom meetings. So I'm generally happy with speed though occasionally frustrated with reliability.
