My ISP has provided consistent uptime and as advertised up/down 1GB fiber service since we switched from Spectrum. They are the only fiber supplier in my area at this time so I do not have another option to consider. I switched from Spectrum which provided coaxial service which had much higher latency, and drops in service due to poor installation at our hub where we share with other neighbors. My personal favorite ISP fiber supplier is ATT from previous experience. ATT was phenomenal regarding physical implementation, consistency and customer service. Buckeye has been great aside from physical implementation and customer service. We had a poor installation experience. However, they did provide us with a lifetime loyalty pricing program at $70/month which is actually less than what we paid during our promotion period. We are happy and will remain a customer as long as service continues to be consistent without major outages and interruption.

Buckeye Cable System's pricing and customer support leave a lot to be desired. My experience in their store regarding issues has been less than satisfactory. They do not upgrade your equipment unless you make multiple requests. You can have the same equipment for 10 years, while your neighbor may have brand-new, updated equipment. Buckeye Cable has a monopoly in the area, with only a couple of small competitors. I would switch to Uverse but it is still unavailable on my street.

Buckeye broadband has the absolute worst customer service. Waited for over 2 hours to speak with a manager who was of no help. Twice was told would receive a call back from customer service, never received a call back. Service technicians no call, no show. No contact information provided for service technicians. Internet has been inconsistent for a week.
