Cedar Falls Utilities Internet Reviews

My internet is only for the town of cedar falls, and I have had it for years now. I can count on one hand the issues that I’ve had with service over the last 5 years, and whenever I have had an issue it has been during business hours and it’s fixed within the hour of my call. We have a busy time around 6pm, and that is the only time that I have noticed any throttle period. My download speeds are 200mbps but I regularly get more than what is advertised. If anyone asks about what internet services to get here, I will always recommend CFU compared to the other companies like mediacom or t mobile.

Local internet seems to be the way to go. Not only is my current internet as fast (or faster) than I’ve ever had, but it costs less than I’ve ever had. The infrastructure and support seem good as well.

My service provider has been good throughout the years. It was rated highly in 2008 by the Obama administration. Over time my family has had the same package which has barely increased it price while increasing its speed.

My internet provider is run locally in our city. It is the best internet service I have ever had. Previous internet providers I have used always had issues and would often lose connection. I have not had any issues since switching. It is the the fastest service I ever had at the lowest price.

Cedar Falls Utilities has been the best ISP I have had. The pricing is fair for 250/250, and the pricing is even fair for 1GBPS. We just have not upgraded to those speeds because we have not had a need to do so. We have had this ISP for three years, going on four. The internet has been down once for about thirty minutes. I have only ever had to call once for support, and they were extremely quick and friendly. They also combine our other utilities, making it super convenient to pay our bill. Whenever we move out of Cedar Falls, it will be extremely disappointing not to have a utility company as quick, fair, and kind as them.
