Spectrum Cable
January 13, 2026 My ISP is generally acceptable in terms of the quality of service and pricing they offer, though that pricing continues to rise, and while the bandwidth rises as well, the connection quality and inconsistent speeds are an issue. I don't really have a competitor that I can change my service to in this area, so I'm stuck with what I have, which is part of the reason I opt for the higher tier plan which seems to give better, more consistent connection quality.
I have been with this ISP since they were called Charter and merged into Spectrum and despite these complaints, they're the best ISP I've had to deal with. Other providers in this area that I've had the option to change to have never been as consistent as even Spectrum is on a normal day.

Spectrum Fiber
April 30, 2025 Spectrum has a reputation for being a bad service in my area, and I have to say that i agree. For example, when we were trying to get it installed initially, we were stood up by the installation team several time. Not only would they not show up, but they were also terribly slow at getting repeatedly missed appointments rescheduled. Also, we went with fiber because it's meant to stand up to storm better, but we got a rainstorm (no thunder or lightening) and the internet wen t out for several hours.

C Spire Fiber
September 20, 2024 We switched to CSpire because our former carrier became too expensive. Our former carrier was Spectrum. I had no issues with Spectrum's cable service other than price. I called Spectrum before canceling to ask if a reduced price was available to keep me as a customer. They only tried to upsell me and would not reduce the price, so I canceled my service and got a great rate with faster speeds using fiber through CSpire. Spectrum has since contacted me repeatedly with much lower rates, which may have retained me as a customer had they been offered before I left.

Spectrum Cable
June 05, 2023 We have had constant issues with this company, even when we have moved. I live in a medium sized condo building downtown, and every resident here has complained and received no solutions. Our service goes out and becomes glitchy around 11 p.m. CST like clockwork. We all turn off wifi on phones and unused devices as Spectrum instructed, but it does nothing. The worst part is that we never receive any bill credits for outages, so we pay full price for a service we can't even realistically use for anything after 11. We also have additional fees that we shouldn't have. For example, our HOA includes a receiver fee in our monthly dues, but charter charges us full price for a DVR plus a receiver fee, instead of crediting the receiver fee.
