XFINITY Cable
March 16, 2026 Our internet used to cost about $120-$150ish but after giving Xfinity a call they were able to lower our rate to $80 which we really appreciate. Overall the internet speed is pretty good and we rarely lose signal. If there is an outage they send you a text message explaining what is going on and when to expect it to come back. I do wish our internet would be better in the backyard but we may just have to buy an extender. Another great thing about Xfinity is how they have public wifi in a lot of parts of the city/cities I visit. So you can have pretty good reliable and safe wi-fi almost everywhere

January 28, 2026 We've had Comcast for years and they keep raising the price of our internet but keep giving new customers cheaper deals. If they can offer deals to them, they should also offer it to loyal customers. It's frustrating we keep paying more but the internet can be hit or miss sometimes, and there isn't any other internet provider where we are so we're stuck. Every time we get a mail offer from a different company and check it out, they say they don't service our area and Comcast owns rights to where we are.
The speed is okay but could definitely be better, and we work from home so internet is extremely important for our jobs, not just playing on phones. There are so many times our computers disconnect for no reason. Bright, sunny days or stormy, it doesn't seem to matter. Our streaming apps on tv will pause when we're trying to watch a movie because it loses wifi connection and we have to connect it again. We also have those extra pods for outlets to help the signal reach through the house, so I would have thought we'd have great signal. Our house is 2800 sq ft so isn't a mansion, but even with 4 pods spread out through the house, internet is off and on.

July 02, 2025 In my area for a long time we were forced to only use one service provider and pay extraordinarily high prices. I was very pleased when Verizon came into my neighborhood and was able to provide a better service at a lower cost. I have not had any problems with lagging or slow speeds since I have switched.
