XFINITY Cable
February 23, 2026 I am happy with the download speeds and the rock solid reliability that Xfinity gives me, but the upload speed is extremely slow. The price is already quite a bit over industry standard and rises every single year, even though the abysmal upload speeds remain the same. They removed loyalty prices years ago for long time customers. This means that customers who have had service with them for a decade are paying more than someone who just started service with them. This does not feel fair as a long time customer. For many areas of the country, Xfinity is the only choice if you want internet. Overall the are satisfactory, but should be doing better for their customers.

October 06, 2024 I use a bundled package for my internet, tv, and landline service through Service Electric. The service is mostly fine although I do find that we have issues more frequently than our neighbors who use other services. The slightest bit of inclement weather knocks out the cable for the night and by that point, the phone and internet are both down, too. The Wi-Fi frequently has connection issues, requiring the router to be hard reset often and I wish it were faster. If it isn’t obvious already, I’m currently looking for a new provider.

Atlantic Broadband Cable
January 31, 2024 Overall I'm happy with my internet service provider. When I moved in they ran a line from a pole down the street to my house at no charge so that was appreciated. The monthly rate is 80$ so it's not the best deal. I'm getting about 120MB down and 10MB up. The internet has been mostly reliable so far barring a few issues. I'm often online around 1-2am and have been interrupted by a surprise outage due to maintenance that I'm not notified about. That can be frustrating but overall I'm happy with my service.
