Earthlink Fiber
June 20, 2025 I am utilizing earthlink solely for internet. I switched to them as part of my disconnection from an AT=T internet and media bundle which had become extremely unsatisfactory. The service has proven robust, reliable and generally very stable, and has provided minimal issues over the preceding 2+ years of use. While the price in somewhat higher than I would collectively net via a bundle, the overall quality of service justifies that. Overall Happy with their offering as it suits my needs very well. The service drop (residential) has ample uplink and downlink to support a wide range of connected devices simultaneously with minimal issue, to include:
1 Content Inspection Firewall with In-line encrypted channel inspection
a wireless environment consisting of 3 Laptops, 1 desktop, 3 IoT devices (including 1 streaming device), and a wired environment consisting of 10 1GBps Links supporting a virtual server farm of between 8 and 14 Virtual Windows and Linux servers (depending on use case) simultaneously. Performance remains satisfactory throughout.

Lumos Networks Fiber
February 28, 2025 I like my provider, especially compared to the most widely known alternative, which is spectrum. It seems to be the most reliable in my area, hardly have any interruptions at all.
On the rare occasion that I do have an interruption, it is typically fixed with a service call via phone. One of my biggest complaints about the company is their website however. I have struggled for the better part of 2 years to enroll in their auto pay system, and it is easier to pass a bill through Congress

Lumos Networks Fiber
August 05, 2024 The customer service from Lumos is great. Any issues we have had have been solved very easily and quickly. The speed of the internet has never given us any issues either. One issue I have is I feel the price has increased sligtly over time, which can add up quick to be much more then the original price planned.
