Frontier DSL
February 15, 2026 I signed up for frontier as it was the cheapest option in my area. Price was my only determining factor, speed was not considered. For the first 2 years i had a fair and reasonable price, 29.99. At some point it was increased to 39.99 which was a surprise but still affordable. 4 months ago I noticed and increase to $54 the next moth to $79 and then to $99! I had received or order no upgrades, everything was exactly the same. I got more than the run around with support. First was "your promotion expired" Ok maybe it did (i wasnt under any promotion). The next increase, another call. The answer? "Your promotion expired"... Wait a minute my promotion also had a promotion?. After the final increase to $99 I explained i am NOT paying this bill or amount owed. Shut it off. Amazingly, after 4 or 5 transferred depts and back to where i started, they discovered i was charged in error. Promised me credits, which i haven't received and put my pricing down to $35. Still on the hook for the entire $99 bill which i can't afford and will probably be shut off in a few days.
Overall, I cannot recommend Frontier. Its great until it isn't.

Conxxus Fiber
March 18, 2025 We have tried internet through our cable company and it was extremely high priced. We were also left without service many times. We have had Conxxus for a few months. it is worth it as we have had very few outages and it is fast and affordable.

Conxxus Fiber
January 16, 2025 We love conexus, we've had 3 different services providers in our location and ever sing one of them has constant outages. We we're barely able to go more than a week without having out internet go down for at least a few hours but since switching to conxus the only time we have lost our connection is during very bad weather incidents. The only real complaint i have is that their customer service is lacking, everything is through an online portal and you very rarely get to talk to a real person.

September 24, 2026 Since this is not published for the area of Effingham, since the beginning of September service on screen of our T.V. has been the upmost intolerant, we are unable to watch or hear any shows we are trying to watch. We are tired of calling them, we just expect great service that we are paying a premium for their services.

September 24, 2026 I DVR most of my future time and I have to say in the last few weeks September 13 to present 23 this has been upmost terrible !!!!!!!!!!! There are very few shows I can watch without a blurred screen and audio is at most non identify. Why do we pay for things in society that we don’t get great service ?? The crazy of all this I can watch most of what I want from other outlets without the hassle , why. Wake up if you want to keep me as a customer !!!!!! It seems many companies are taking advantage of the hard working people that just want a simple pastime.
