December 20, 2025 I live in graduate student housing, so the internet is paid for by the university. This may skew my answers a bit since I obviously enjoy the price. The speed could be a lot better though since it’s patchy and can be slow when watching videos. I prefer fiber optics (used to have google fiber at my old apartment), but can’t complain about this with the price.

September 08, 2025 I’m very satisfied with my Google Fiber service. The internet speed is excellent, and the connection has been extremely reliable with no issues at all. The installation process was smooth, and the technician who came to my house was very helpful and professional. Overall, I’m happy with both the service and support, and I’d gladly recommend Google Fiber to others.

June 07, 2023 The service is just okay. There are times where I cannot connect to the Internet at all, which obviously impacts my ability to do work. I missed out on an important meeting last week because the speed was too slow to connect to the meeting. This seems to happen about 20% of the time.

May 31, 2023 Every couple of week, Cox will unexpectedly go down and my household will be without internet for hours. With a few of us being in college, this is detrimental if we have a deadline the same say. The internet goes down even more often during holidays and midterm-final season. On top of this, every so often the pricing will go up for no reason and we need to call them in order to get the price to go down once again.
