Spectrum Cable
January 15, 2026 I actually really like our internet provider right now. We started with spectrum when we first moved into our new home as well as a mobile service with them. The router was shipped out to us about two days later and all we had to do was connect it to the fixed internet line in our home. Set up was explained very well and our internet was up and running within a half hour. The price is not bad either. We pay about 85 dollars a month for high speed internet. We use internet on about 8 devices in our home (tv, laptop, Alexa, phones etc) we have had no issues with buffering or lagging. Overall we are satisfied.

January 09, 2026 I've used Spectrum both in my current home in upstate New York and previously living in NYC, not by choice but because it was the only available option. Almost every time I've moved, the first install attempt is extremely poor. I quite literally ALWAYS need to call them, tell them my internet is extremely slow, and then they have to create a separate 5G wifi. I recently moved into a three story town home and the internet completely fails on the third floor, so inevitably I will either have to call them or buy a wifi extender and fix it myself. It's incredibly frustrating and I don't understand the business motive behind this.
