Verizon Fixed Wireless
April 26, 2026 Verizon used to be the best, until a few years ago. There customer service and reliability tanked. I went months with some services working, and others not, yet they could never figure out the problem and fix it. One problem would be fixed, and another problem would take it's place. So, we switched. I was really leery about switching to Total by Verizon, but Verizon towers are the only ones that reach our rural area. Total by Verizon, amazingly, has been great! Maybe it's just that it's prepaid, but the service has been reliable. The payments are fair, automatic and easy. We've had absolutely no problems with our 5g home Internet, or our phones

January 27, 2025 My husband and I just moved to in to our house a few months ago and switched our phone provider from ATT to Xfinity and Internet from a local company in South Dakota to Xfinity. The reason we went Xfinity was due to the great deals they were running at the time. We were able to get internet with a free peacock subscription and a free phone line for switching, it made the most sense for what we needed and seemed to be what most of the area is using. The internet speed in the home does take a bit of time to buffer as my husband is a gamer and has noted this issue. I don’t see many issues with streaming and in house network usage however out of house usage takes a while for items to load. Occasionally when I am at home I will need to reset the WiFi on my phone for it to work as well.
