Ponderosa DSL
June 22, 2025 In the rural area we live in we don't have another option for internet providers, unless you go with Verizon internet. Other cell phone carriers don't work up here in the mountains. Both are very unreliable, however Verizon is more affordable than Ponderosa. My current internet provider upcharges yearly, so for a location scarce of jobs or high paying jobs, most people struggle or go without internet period. I'm very lucky to share payment with someone so I can have basic internet access, even if it's just minimal to watching or streaming videos online and nothing beyond that.

XFINITY Cable
May 03, 2025 I have been with Xfinity for quite a while and I am very pleased with their services. Anytime there has been a hiccup, it has been so easy to chat with an agent and fix it quickly. I do not usually have time to call so it is nice everything can be handled through their live chat. I had an issue with getting charged more because I dropped a line and I spoke to them and they found a way to lower my payment back down which was very nice.

Vyve Broadband Cable
April 30, 2023 Vyve Broadband company is not very reliable. Many times the Internet goes out randomly. I can be in the middle of something important and then all of a sudden I have no internet. This happens mostly in the wintertime when it rains a lot. Also, the company has different prices. If I want a really high speed they want to charge me double. I think everyone should get the high speed and it should only be one reasonable price. I feel they are just taking advantage of people. Also, they do not issue any credits during the internet downtime when it is their fault.
