T-Mobile Home Internet Fixed Wireless
August 05, 2025 T-Mobile home internet has been overall a decent provider for various reasons but still has it's flaws. The speed is excellent considering it is wireless, but does vary greatly due to being a lower priority on the tower. During peak time, the speed is still fine at around 150MBps , but still can go up to 300MBps which creates a pretty large variation. The pricing is too excellent to complain as I got the pricing locked in early when it first came out. The biggest issue is the provided router that you need to use. After having issues with our original router/modem combo, we were given a different brand version to use which has been nothing but worse. They now refuse to let us go back to the previous one, leaving me feeling scammed after I was told it would be an upgrade. I was required to pay for this new router as well. Overall it is a good ISP as far as ISPs go, but it has room for improvement and I do see it improving over time. Our speed has already been upgraded when T-Mobile upgraded their towers in general recently and turned off the older 3g network.

October 04, 2023 We currently use xfinity mostly due to the fact there is no other choice in the bay area. We are fortunate to get a slight discount on our bill because my husband works for NBC however the pricing is not good for what they offer. They also force us to keep our cable bundle by trying to dissuade us every time we attempt to cancel it. They tell us that its basically free and worth it to just keep it every single time. The speed can get a bit laggy if my husband and I are both doing alot of work online but otherwise its fine. I just wish we had more options to choose from!
