Spectrum Fiber
February 25, 2026 While Spectrum's fiber-to-the-home internet product is of decent quality, the games they play around pricing and speeds are maddening. At least once per year I need to call them and get their 'retention' department on the line in order to understand why my price suddenly increased, and then 'threaten' to leave their service to get a better price, again on a not-standard-length promotional period. Contrast that to Google Fiber which has had consistent pricing for years and no games played. Until recently I was forced to use Spectrum as they were the only provider in my neighborhood, but within the past year, both Google Fiber and Frontier Fiber have laid cable in my neighborhood and have been heavily promoting their services. I am inclined to make a switch the next time my price automatically increases with Spectrum.

AT&T Fiber
February 02, 2023 At&t has been a great internet company . The speeds have been very consistent and I've had very few service interruptions. One minor gripe is their pricing. Like most companies they offer a low rate initially, then raise the prices. Other than having to call each year to get " new customer" prices they're pretty good overall.
