I switched to GoNetSpeed from Spectrum cable as GoNetSpeed was the first real competitor to come into my area. My experience with spectrum was terrible; slow speeds with prices increasing every few months. Once GoNetSpeed came into the are they offered pricing that was literally half of my spectrum bill for much faster speeds. Since I’ve had GoNetSpeed for the last 3 years, they have only increased my bill by $5 a month, bringing the total to $65 a month, which I am more than happy with, as I was paying $100+ with Spectrum.

We're very pleased with GoNetSpeed. Installation was prompt and professional, and in the nearly two years of service we've only had one brief outage due to no fault of GoNetSpeed (car accident!). It's been so nice not to have to worry about the internet being out. Our speeds are excellent, we never have any jogging or lags despite being a family of 7 with a lot of streaming devices. Billing is straightforward and online bill payment is easy to navigate, and the price is reasonable and best of all, guaranteed for as long as we have service. So much better than our former cable company's pricing scheme.

Yes I would! I've had GoNetSpeed for almost 3 years, since they first arrived in the greater Bangor ME area. I'd previously been using a cable ISP which was, at the time the "only" option available where I lived. When GNS came to my area, it was a no-brainer to switch since they were not only another "option" to the cable service. They were Fiber Optic, a major upgrade. And when I signed up paying the exact same rate as the previous service, it made it all the better. Just recently, (spring of 2025), I am suddenly discovering another fiber optic ISP making its way into my area. I heard sales people from the company claiming the speed and service quality for the price is far better than GoNetSpeed. Yet there was no valid information nor anything to substantiate these claims. The competitor fiber optic ISP did, however, offer me a free trial with them. So I figured I had nothing to lose trying it out and evaluating. Less than a week later, I've confirmed the speed and price of the 2 fiber optic companies is about the same. The constant and adamant claims I kept hearing about the other service being "better" than GoNetSpeed was completely false. And I have now found that GoNetSpeed is far superior with their customer service, tech support, communication, reliability and overall professionalism of the people who represent the company. For that reason, I am only bringing business to GoNetSpeed and NOT to their competitor.

The service is outstanding, and the pricing is less than my local cable internet provider. The install and cutover (from cable) was smooth. The only real issue I had is a double NAT system which shuts down any "outside" access to my network (security, Plex server...). This was fixed with a static IP, but at a cost.
