Everyone I've ever dealt with that is actually at Star has been nice and tried to help, though sometimes they have been completely and utterly useless. My biggest issue is that now the number you call sends you to some Tier 1 techs that in another state and have no access to anything and only walk you through unplugging your router and modem, which is useless 95% of the time, and has never helped me. Lately, since there is a new internet company that is actively competing with them they have improved their speed packages a good bit. I grew up with their internet, and they only in the last few years ran fiber in my parents area, and they would have had DSL until like 2023, if they hadn't bought Starlink internet.

Star Communications offers a unique mix of value and service in our area, being the sole internet provider around. Their pricing is commendably fair, especially considering the decent internet speeds they deliver. The reliability of the connection is generally good, managing to keep up with the demands of daily internet use most of the time.

However, my experience with their customer service and equipment maintenance has been mixed. It took over a year for them to replace and upgrade my equipment, despite repeated calls regarding connectivity issues ranging from complete disconnections to sporadic service disruptions. This delay was frustrating and often left me struggling to maintain consistent internet access.

Despite these challenges, I find Star Communications to be a reasonably good service overall. Given that they are the only provider in our area, I appreciate their effort to maintain justified and fair pricing. If you're in their service area, they are a viable option, especially if you value fair pricing and decent internet speed.
