T-Mobile Home Internet Fixed Wireless
August 12, 2025 I like T-Mobile for the most part. My boyfriend and I both play a lot of video games, while simultaneously being on discord to play with his brother. Obviously, that can be a lot of strain on an ISP, but T-Mobile takes it pretty well. We are also in a college town, so I'm sure that has some effect on why it can handle our internet traffic so well-- the whole area's built for HEAVY internet traffic.
I just have 2 complaints about T-Mobile.
1. We're night owls, and probably 8/10 nights, the internet will cut out for 5-30 minutes. I assume this is for maintenance, as it's usually between 2-4am, but it gets frustrating at times.
2. There is no way to port-forward using T-Mobile internet. T-mobile is the only provider for my specific area, but if that wasn't the case, I would switch ISPs. Port forwarding is necessary for creating servers that me, my bf, and his brother can play on without playing with dozens of strangers. It's a make or break feature for me, and despite my satisfaction with their connection speeds, I'm likely to switch as soon as I move to an area where they're not my only option.

XFINITY Fiber
June 25, 2025 I have to have my internet provider due to my rental situation. I would change otherwise. You have to sign a contract and they increase the price dramatically after a period of time. My wifi also basically stopped working and they said nothing was wrong. When a tech finally came out, there was a problem and I had been paying $135 for months with basically no wifi.

KUB Fiber
April 30, 2025 Better speeds AND lower latency compared to a few other internet providers I have tried. My family and I were some of the first around our area to get KUB Fiber. We had some routine, expected connectivity issues when the device was first installed. The big difference is KUB came out the same day, took some measurements, came BACK out again that same day with a bucket truck, and fixed the issue rather than making an excuse and leaving my household without internet. It's also nice to know that everyone is a local.

KUB Fiber
April 26, 2025 We (my husband and I) switched to KUB Fiber internet about a year ago. So far, we have really enjoyed it! It’s reasonably priced, the customer service is good as well, and for the most part we don’t have issue with service. We use to have xfinity/comcast, but they just kept raising the pricing and their customer service was not the best (or very good to be honest). So, with that mindset KUB Fiber has been very pleasing!
