Service Electric Cablevision Fiber
March 18, 2026 I am overall happy with the speed of our internet, but I'm displeased with the fact that you have to purchase a bundle of internet usage (phone/internet/tv). I'd prefer to have the option to just purchase internet in order to save money as I don't use my provider for the other two items. Unfortunately, there are no other providers in the area to choose from, so we are stuck with service electric.

XFINITY Cable
December 08, 2025 I have had my provider Xfinity Comcast for many many years. I have had extremely good service over the years and am very happy with my service. In all these years, there has only been a handful of times where service was interrupted. Over the years I have upgraded and downgraded and have never had any issues with customer service at all. They were helpful and understanding every time. They have a range of prices for plans. They even have a low-income plan so everyone can have internet.

July 29, 2025 Although my provider is certainly not the cheapest, I have great internet speeds, and really good streaming. I was easily able to downgrade recently away from having a DVR, and easily saved over $80/mo eliminating some unused services and features. The staff was extremely helpful in accomplishing all this without any hassles or judgement.

May 05, 2025 Honestly, this company has been a bit of a nightmare to deal with. While in theory they have good pricing, you'll never get the speeds your advertised. For the past few years I've been paying around 120$ for 1 gig download, 100 mbit upload, yet I've only ever seen around 600 mbit download, and 50 upload. Recently they rolled out a new 2 gig plan for the same price as my old 1 gig. So I moved to that, and that itself has been a bit of a nightmare. They've repeatedly insisted that they need to send a tech into my home to install a new modem, and while trying to explain to them that as a networking major, they in fact do not need to send a tech into my home they'd get lippy with me and talk to me as if I don't know what I'm talking about. Despite the fact I have a whole server rack, 24 port switch and have been doing this for years. They were insistent that I needed a tech to replace the modem. Even worse they were telling me that my modem is in a place where it simply wasn't. They were constantly pushing that my modem was in the basement. It in fact, never was. I've been a user of their services since 2009. I think I'd know where my modem is. I strongly dislike the fact that despite being the one paying the bill for so long, they still talk to me as if I'm an idiot and have no idea what I'm talking about. Despite knowing that I'm a damn bit more qualified to work on my own network then whatever tech they could send out.
