What kind of company is Tachus? I installed Tachus in 2020. I average 25 to 40 devices online at all times. With the Anti Virus, Spam, Spyware, Malware, Firewalls, & other applications running I average 964 MB download & 987 MB upload speeds. Four of us work from home with VPN connections to large companies. Tachus went down one time for 14 hours. They gave us one free month of service. XFINITY cut the Tachus Fiber Cables from two different entry points to the city by accident. Tachus installed a third city entry point. When strong storms come through the area the large trees are blown down and the area loses power a lot. I have a 26KW Generator & Tachus has a generator at avery distribution point. We never lose internet & when power is off several miles in any direction & the cell towers go down, I route all phones through Tachus with no issues. We also stream 4K movies to 5 TVs at the same time. Tachus has 5 GB Symmetrical for home & 8GB Symmetrical for business. The home prices are cheap with all charges including Taxes for $90.00 a month forever prices.

Internet has been down 4 days

We have had Tachus for over a year now. Switched from Suddenlink which constantly dropped connection. Since having Tachus we have not lost connection for longer then a few moments for updates. Even when we were hit by Hurricane Beryl and had to run our generator for over a week we still had internet service.

My family and I have Tachus internet service. We were a bit skeptical being that it is a newer company compared to the other internet services provided in our area. We previously had Xfinity and did not have the best experience with them. There would be constant outages, some lasting for hours. Our bill price would change constantly. It just was not up to par with the price we were paying for the inconsistent service. Thankfully we have not had those issues since switching to Tachus. Though its only been a few months, we have not had any outages. Our bill has been very consistent with the rate we were originally given. The internet speed works perfectly fast and my house thrives off of internet connection. If I had to choose a con with Tachus, it would be that the payments are all due on the 1st of every month and is on autopay. That is quite different from other companies we are use to where we could pick the due date and pay manually ourselves from a app. All in all it is a great service that Im sure is still being developed.

Generally I'm satisfied with this provider but recently there have been occasional slowdowns and interruptions with service. I don't know exactly what is going on as these issues happen randomly. The slowdown in particular occurs when streaming content and gaming which shouldn't be happening with the plan we have. I do hope this will be resolved soon.
