Spectrum Cable
March 11, 2026 I have used Spectrum for many years, and I've been consistently disappointed with almost every aspect of their service. Speeds are slow or just tolerable. The monthly prices for what you actually get feel like robbery. Recently, I contacted their customer service to request a new router upgrade for free, which I was eligible for. I had many unproductive back and forth conversations with their AI chatbots and actual customer service representatives. They said they sent the router multiple times, but it never showed up after many months. I showed them the emails that said it was sent, and they accused me of making it all up. I was extremely disappointed with them. They eventually sent the new router, but my confidence in their customer service was obliterated. As soon as Verizon FIOS becomes available in my area, I will be switching immediately.

Astound Broadband Cable
March 09, 2026 Using Astound was a breath of fresh air after the trouble I had with Xfinity when I moved. Astound was easy, responsive, and quick. They came right away and got me online within a few minutes, and at a better price. I've been using Astound Broadband for two years now, my internet has been fast and affordable, and I've never had any issues with outages or making payments.

XFINITY Fiber
February 27, 2026 Xfinity is the only internet provider that we really have access to in my area with high speed internet. This makes it really difficult to have any leverage in switching providers or comparing options. The internet service often experiences interruptions and issues. I also think the customer service is quite poor and difficult to get in contact and communicate with. Overall, I don't find it to be worth the price and wish there were other options in my area.

Spectrum Cable
February 20, 2026 Spectrum charges me $83/mth for high speed, but I do not need such a high speed and would gladly pay less for a lower speed. However, they do not offer that. I would much prefer plans at different speeds and prices.
