Very poor service. I pay for 12mbs, my speed is consistently below 5mbs, and latency runs up to 1.5 SECONDS at times. Video is buffering every 5 - 10 min for 2 -3 min, web pages load very slowly. I call support and the schedule for 2 - 3 weeks out. When the techs came out, multiple times, they are not able fix or improve the DSL. I have not had dial tone for 2 weeks. Time for a provider change.

I've had CenturyLink as my provider for over eight years now and I find them to be mostly agreeable. There was no installation fee when I first joined and though the pricing isn't the cheapest, it's been a solid service for me. Their customer service is very good and gets back to you quickly and they are willing and able to replace modems rather quickly. They offer plans for you to simply add the new modem fee to your month bill, which is nice if you don't have the full amount upfront. It isn't the fastest internet, but it also isn't the slowest. I'm able to stream and play games online without any issue, so that's nice.
