Verizon Fixed Wireless
June 08, 2023 We really like our Internet provider, Verizon. The service is always reliable, even when there's a rain storm. In our neighborhood Facebook group, we commonly read about our neighbors having problems with one of the other providers in our area. I highly recommend Verizon. The price is not the cheapest, but we think it is the most dependable.

April 20, 2023 I find it incredibly frustrating that I had the same service for three years and then it suddenly was slow and disconnecting. After doing a chat with Verizon, they told me I had to upgrade but could not answer why it was fine for years and suddenly was an issue. I had the same devices, same streaming, same electronics connected and could only say they understood my frustration. I said I would upgrade which meant I needed to pickup a new router and the new princing would start. I never picked up the router, but magically my service has been fine since.

February 23, 2023 Verizon's fiberoptic internet service called Fios is overall fairly good, in terms of performance. The installation was a bit of a pain, but that's how it usually is when having internet set up at a new house. The service has cut out only a few times this year, otherwise the performance has been consistent. My one complaint is the G1100 router that they gave us has terrible WiFi range and can barely reach my bedroom, so we had to buy some network extenders to enhance the performance a bit. When connected by ethernet, it works flawlessly though.
