Overall, I am satisfied with the service. The download speed is fast (1Gbps), and the pricing is fair. The install process and setup was straightforward. However, the biggest downside by far is that the upload speed is much slower than the download speed.

I feel that the speed is a great speed for what I am doing with the service. When I stream I notice that the speed is always consistent. There have never really been any drop outs of service so I am happy about that. I do wish the cost was a little less given what I am paying for the service but overall I am happy with the speed and service I that I am getting.

I like astound broadband because I can use my own equipment for the internet. I like that Astound hasn't randomly increased the price on me like other ISPs do.

I am generally satisfied with my current ISP. The price is very good compared to other plans I have had, and the customer service is great. I don't lose connection very often, but when I do it tends to go out for a few hours at a time, which can be frustrating. But, again, that doesn't happen very often. The one thing that I find mildly frustrating is there seems to be very minor connection issues with maintaining an absolutely constant, good connection. I work from home, and use an internet-based phone line. Pretty frequently, I have spotty connection while on calls, often having calls drop completely. I have attempted to resolve this with the ISP but they don't see the disconnect since it doesn't affect my computer running apps or the ultimate overall connection- which to them is fully connected and uninterrupted. My IT dept has said it has something having to do with latency (which I don't fully understand) and that the tiny disconnects can go totally unnoticed until on a call which requires, perhaps, a stronger connection. All this to say, I could possibly get an even faster connection speed but I have not tried that yet because the problem hasn't gotten bad enough for me to want to pay more.
