The service rips people off. been customer for many years,had bad box ,was told to go buy another one .Finally someone came replaced it after many months. Paid for services never didnt get.Company never took charges off.

At my apartment, we have not had any problems with Optimum. They are the only provider that we are allowed to have, but the connection and internet speeds have been surprisingly good since we've been here. The one issue is that Optimum's customer service is terrible. One time we were on hold for like two hours and we just ended up giving up on our problem. When it does connect us to a representative, they are kind and helpful, but it seems like Optimum goes out of their way to make sure you don't speak to anyone.

I am happy with my service provider because it is inexpensive and the installation was fast and easy, and I haven't had issues with connectivity or slow speeds. I have been offered an upgrade to Fiber for free, as well, although the speed it has now is sufficient. I chose this service because it is a lower monthly price compared to competitors and it is a basic internet plan it doesn't include cable tv or a phone line. What I am unhappy with is that the price has increased in the last year compared to what it was in the previous years. It was the same price from the time I had it installed but recently the monthly fee has increased, which is expected but annoying.
