STAY AWAY!! Connection drops like its going out of style. Pricing and bill is completely volatile -ever changing.

I was reluctant to switch to AT&T, because of how lomng I had been with Comcast. I used AT&T when I stayed in an apartment, but I was still unsure. In the apartment, the services went out quite often. Once I moved back into my house, my husband switched to AT&T and I'm glad he did. The services at my home is much better than services I had at the apartment. I only pay $60 vs $125 for my internet and I've had no issues with speed, nor outages. I was also able to upgrade to fiber again for only $60. I'm happy with my choice.

Before I had AT&T Fiber, I was with Spectrum Cable and I was really satisfied with my service. I did have to have additional hardware of course, not just the modem, but I needed a router also. I purchased my own to use, but of course it took up an additional plug on my power strip. I will explain why I mention this later in this review. What I wasn't at all satisfied with was the fact that Spectrum kept raising the price of the service every few months. It was really becoming a problem and finally after a few months of not being able to pay my $90 bill, it became untenable. I had called Spectrum multiple times to have them lower my rate and was met with reps who just would not, and they wouldn't even allow me to talk to their supervisors. So, I had a friend in NC who had fiber from AT&T in the last place they'd lived and was super happy with it and I'd gotten several offers from AT&T in my mail with *really* compelling prices for the different levels of speed. So I decided to take the leap. Got permission from the landlord to have AT&T do the work needed to install, and I was on my way. It only took a few hours for the full install and I was up and running. I have had it for about 4 months now and couldn't be happier! Their modem and router are all in one, in a really well designed box that stands up and freed up that additional plug on my power strip! There is an app on the phone that is SO easy to use and you save money if you set up auto-draft for payment! That's not nothing, especially these days! I have zero complaints. 5 stars, would highly recommend.

Our internet never goes down but it’s not that fast even though we pay for high speed
