I was overcharged for several months. I had a $49.95 3 yr plan, but I was overcharged and TDS promised to credit me for the overcharges but they never did. I spent hours on the phone with them! I cancelled and then found out that they DO NOT prorate for partial months service. CANNOT RECOMMEND! go with Quantum fiber!

Customer service is horrible there bills change monthly. You call customer service to take care of the issues and then you get a bill that’s higher than quoted. Personally would not recommend any TDS services unless you want to call them every month to argue your bill. And make sure you talk to customer specialist before you cancel or they add more on bill.

Our internet speeds are not always consistent, which is an issue I have with this provider. Service seems to have worsened over the past few years. We have not been satisfied with the quality of customer service, and during outages or situations where a visit to our home is required, wait times can be incredibly long.

Their service and customer service are awful. The pricing they have for what they actually deliver is ridiculous. My service goes down pretty frequently. I called once when my service was down, and their CSR was SO rude to me and said she couldn't set up an appointment for a technician to come check out my equipment or their equipment because their service was currently down. Their website is a nightmare to navigate, especially with the new system they just migrated to. Their technology is seriously behind the times. If I ever move or if another service becomes available in my area, I will never use TDS again. I finally managed to get a tech support guy out last summer. He said there was a bunch in their lines that was messed up from construction in the area. Whatever he fixed helped for awhile, but it is back to being super slow and going down again fairly frequently. I've never had an ISP this bad.

I have a 600 meg upload & 600 meg download fiber connection (fiber to the home) through TDS Telecom which I pay about $35 a month for. With all the people in our house we are able to play video games and stream at the same time with no issues. We switched from coax internet from Spectrum which was constantly having outages and the upload speed for that cable internet was maybe 20 meg and my son would complain all the time that it would take hours to upload a YouTube video. Now it takes minutes to do what took hours before. We will NEVER go back to a cable internet provider which has such slow upload speeds.
