They do not provide the service they advertise

Spectrum was my internet service provider up until a week ago. I have made the switch to Lumos by T Mobile, after a visit from a sales guy in my area. I am familiar with T Mobile because I have them for my mobile phone service so it was no problem with me switching to Lumos by T Mobile. My reasons were for the fiber internet service that provides faster speed, ideal pricing, great customer service, and minimal installation hassle. Also, I am hoping to be able to bundle my services soon as soon as the merger with Lumos is complete.

Lumos offers amazing internet service at very reasonable rates. Before Lumos, we only had one provider in our rural community that offered internet at almost $300 a month. With enough interest, they came out and installed on our whole street. We only pay $75 for fast, effective internet. It always works great! Would highly recommend to anyone.

I currently have Lumos but it did not start out that way. When I originally signed up it was a company called NorthState and it was absolutely amazing. It was sold a few times and now my internet is serviced by Lumos. Back when it was just Northstate, it was the perfect provider as I had local 24/7 friendly and professional technical support if I ever needed it. Customer support was always friendly and understanding, and the price I paid was amazing. With Lumos, the customer support and technical support are awful. The only reason I am still ok with it is because my plan is still the same price as when I signed up with Northstate. I've talked to friends looking into getting Lumos as a new customer but they would paying 30-40 more dollars per month than what I currently pay. If I had to pay that amount I would not consider it a good internet provider.
